Home Opener

Guys, I'm sorry. I unintentionally tricked you all. I didn't wind up wearing EITHER outfit that I posted about on my first day of school...instead, I wore the outfit seen in the p ost seen here with sandals instead of flats. I was so indecisive...and this was what I liked the night before the first day. On any other given day, I might have worn something completely different. Might have just been one of those moods. Nonetheless, I got lots of compliments...so I'm not complaining :). I'm onto my third day now, and hopefully I'll be able to take some new pictures soon! It's hard, with soccer, I don't get home until nearly 7 PM....and then I have to do my homework! Plus, it's starting to get dark by then anyways....oh how I miss summer already!
But, I do have some awesome classes---my favorite being Poetry and AP US Gov. My school has the best record of any school in the United States on the AP US Government and Politics exam...the last year it was taught at my school, 43 students took the exam and 37 of them got a 5 (the highest possible score!). The remaining six got a 4, which is very good as well! So I have high hopes for that class and the results I'll get! Plus, I love the teacher--not only does he deliver results (37 out of 43, guys...THAT is impressive), he's a funny guy.
Anyways, my team has our first game of the season tomorrow night! It's one of the toughest teams we face, and yours truly will be starting as goalkeeper! Wish me luck!!!!!

Pick My First Day Outfit!

First things first. I'd like to introduce you to my first ever clutch!! Clutches seem to be staples in nearly every blogger's wardrobe, so now I've finally joined the party! Honestly, I can't think of a better way to start a collection than with galaxy print. It's been a staple in my summer wardrobe (and will continue to be a staple into the fall and winter). Next thing you know I'll be wearing galaxy on galaxy! If you want to own this cute little clutch (there are many color options!) just head right over here and pick one out. This dress is one of my favorite purchases from my back to school shopping spree. It's from H&M and it's so my style! After lots of thinking/procrastinating/standing in my closet in frustration, I have finally narrowed down my options for the first day. While I don't know how I want to accessorize quite yet, or what shoes I'll wear, I know that I want to wear a dress. And it's going to be one of these two! Problem is, I can't decide. Springsteen

BRUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCE. Yep, Bruce Springsteen. If you haven't heard of him, you're insane. And if you think he's awful, well, join the club. But apparently he's popular, so... SO that is why I am seeing him in concert. My parents love him, my relatives love him, my parents friends' love him. Must be an older person thing, since as far as I know, none of my friends like him (and when I say older, it's all relative, Mom, don't worry).
Anyways, this is what I'm wearing as I'm off to go see Bruce Springsteen tonight with a whole bunch of my family and my family's friends and (thank god) one of my own friends. It's forecast to rain, storm, and lightning all day so it should be fun!
