Since tomorrow is the first day of fall...I think it's time to be breaking out the scarves! Even though this one is a summery print and fabric, I never wear scarves in the summer, so this is my fall scarf. I got it from one of my friends for my sweet sixteen last year, and I love it so much! In other news, I'm so so so busy. I have my first AP Biology test on Tuesday, my first math test on Thursday, and my first AP US Gov quiz/test thing on Friday. Not to mention soccer games. Wahh. Stressssss.
I can't wait to catch up on all of your blogs, but I'm so busy that I haven't even opened my bloglovin' since summer practically!!! Hopefully I'll get caught up once my workload lessens...which won't likely be until NOVEMBER when soccer ends.

The Branch Tortoise sunglasses are definitely the favorite of all of the glasses I was sent by Giant Vintage. I absolutely LOVE these! The shape, the tortoise-print, the sort of ombre affect the shade itself has. They are so unique and not something I would ever try on. That's why I'm totally glad I picked these. Do you ever think something looks odd on its own and then when you put it on, you just love it? That's how I feel about these glasses. Weird in your hand, WOW on your face. Comprendo?

Day 2 features the Blaine Tortoise glasses which are $20 from Giant Vintage. These are one of my favorite pairs--I've been drawn to round sunglasses lately. What do you think?
Also, if you can believe it, this is my first ever maxi dress! I have some midi/weird length-ish dresses, but not a true maxi. Well, until this Valrouge dress!! Too bad summer's gone....but hey, this color works for fall and winter, too! If you want to get one, the style is "Grace Maxi". Only $7.99!!
It was oh so nice having Monday off for the Jewish holiday Rosh Hashanah. And I've got next Wednesday off for another Jewish holiday! WOOP!

So I told you in my last post that I'd recently added an plethora of new sunglasses to my closet. Well, I more than doubled my current collection with 8 new pairs, to be exact. Never again will I wear the same pair two days in a row!!!! Now I've got tons of options. Where did I get 8 new pairs of sunglasses?? GIANT VINTAGE OF COURSE! Don't let the name fool you--while yes, they do have an amazing selection of vintage, they've got new pairs too! And by no means does 'vintage' mean outdated. This shop has the coolest, most eclectic mix of modern, funky, retro, and yes, vintage, that you'll find anywhere!
Since I was sent 8 pairs of sunglasses to test out, I figured it was ample time for another feature like the one I did with the Echoing Waters galaxy shirt back in August. So here you have 8 pairs, 8 days, 8 ways: Day 1. Today's pair are the "Fin" glasses in black. They're $20 and they come in tortoise too!
When I wore this outfit to school, I actually wore it with the white version of this top. But I wish I'd worn it with the mint! Looking at the pictures now, I love how the mint compliments the purple. Also, this is literally the best t-shirt ever. So comfortable, chic and loose. Hence why I bought two of the same one :)
Last thing I want to talk about are my new flats from MyHotShoes.com! If you didn't know, purple is my color. My closet is painted purple, I have 4 purple dresses....but, (until these) I had no purple shoes. That's where these came in! They remind kind of of the Tory Burch Reva flats that are so cute and oh so expensive. I'd say for $14.99, these certainly rival TB's Reva! I might have to scoop them up in the 5 other colors, too....

I had already associated these glasses with John Lennon when I got them in the mail from Firmoo (Google 'John Lennon Sunglasses'--you'll see what I mean), but when my friend Ali posted a look with the SAME glasses from the EXACT SAME place (and made it about John Lennon), it affirmed that these are indeed Lennon glasses. They are so unique, so uncommon in the world of women's sunglasses. That's what makes them special! I've become somewhat of a sunglass hoarder these past few weeks since summer has ended (weird, I know). And these are one of my new favorites! If you love them as much as I do, GET A PAIR FOR FREE HERE!
Also, I wore this top for school picture day this year! It's hard to believe that I only have ONE picture day left...and ONE first day of school left...
Guys, it's only the start of junior year and already I feel like high school is nearly over!!!
