Had a loooong week and only one more to go before I'm off for Christmas break! FINALLY! I can't wait for Christmas. I had a looong wishlist this year, haha. I'm sure all fashion bloggers do though, right?
Plus I've only got one test this week. I had a bunch last week and I will have a bunch when I come back from break...but for now, anyway, I get to relax a bit. I am so ready for the holidays!

Bang Bang

Wore this outfit last Friday and I have to say it's one of my favorites! I love the new jean jacket I got on Black Friday from J. Crew. It was originally like $100...and I got it for $30! I'm wearing it today even though I'm not wearing that dress. You'll see what I'm actually wearing today soon enough...I just don't have time to take pictures during the school week so I resort to doing them ALL on the weekends. If only it didn't get dark at the wee hour of 4pm... Anyways, got my report card back today and I am VERY happy! All A's and one B+. It's so satisfying that all of my hard work pays off, especially in my AP classes. I got an A in each of them (the B+ was math....my least favorite subject!). ULINX has me hooked. I've worn this bracelet every day for the past three weeks and I am still not over how FUN it is! I rearrange it, take it apart, put it back together, and more all day long. Heart on My Sleeve

I'm a bit behind...I wore this outfit to school, my brother's swim meet, and then out to dinner with friends and family last Friday night! As you can tell I am loving my Lulu*s boots. I also just bought this top from Love Culture--where this summer, I also bought my chambray shirt. They're kind of like a Forever 21, aka quality isn't the greatest, but I sure have been loving the styles! :) What do you think? Would you wear this top or is it too *bling bling* for you?

Also, I went to Washington DC on a school trip yesterday. I'm taking AP US Government and Politics, so it was relevant and interesting and...long. DC is 3 hours from where I go to school, so I woke up at 5 AM and the bus left at 6:15 AM. We came home in rush hour traffic and that was an even longer trip (5 hours!!) and didn't get back to school until 9:30. Needless to say, it was quite a long day. Would have been better as an overnight trip, but I still thought it was fun! Of course now I need to catch up on a whole load of work.
And that's where I'll leave ya! Back to work I go....

So my search for the perfect, short brown boots continues. I ordered a pair from Nordstrom but when I got them, they were too plasticky looking so I am going to return them. In the meantime, my search for the perfect short black boots has finished!!! WITH THESE AWESOME BOOTIES FROM LULU*S! Love the studding on the sides, definitely makes them original!!  Also, what do you think of my monogrammed initials necklace? According to my brother, all the prepsters at his prep school wear them. So I guess this makes me (kind of) preppy? no? didn't think so.
