Potential first day of school dress? My mom thinks so and I'm starting to think so too! I wore it yesterday on a college visit (it was raining so I couldn't get that great of photos), and I'll be bringing it with me on my college roadtrip this week as well (and I'll get some better shots of it)!
It's also a promising option for an interview dress. Cute and stylish while still being appropriate! This outfit is definitely my new "college visiting/interviewing/touring" outfit :)

Another thing I can't seem to get enough of--delicate jewelry! Especially when it's got my name on it. These two necklaces will be coming with me this week as well! The shorter one is engraved with my initials "REF" and the tube necklace complements it nicely, don't you think? I also love to wear handmade jewelry. It seems so much more special, plus I know I'm the only one who's got it since it's original!

I went college visiting today! It rained during the visit which definitely put a damper on it, but I wasn't a big fan of the school I visited anyway. It was nice, had a nice campus, but I couldn't really see myself there. 
This week as well I'm college visiting all along the East Coast. Excited but also not excited to go sit in on lots of info sessions and tours. They get a bit old after a while, you know?

Today I'm off photoshoot-ing in some field or another with my friend Margaux. A good photoshoot makes any day better :)
This top and bottom are two of my newest purchases, for "back to school". I've already worn the shorts twice though so I guess my mom was right when she argued that I wasn't buying this stuff for back to school. 

Still, super cute for summer right? I'm a sucker for "different" shorts and these definitely fit that profile (right up there with my crochet jean shorts--another favorite!). Happy almost August!

Happy Monday! I got some awesome sunglasses in the mail a few weeks ago from Giant Vintage and I'm having a tough time picking which ones are my favorites! These are definitely up there though--they're so different from everything else I own! Plus, pink mirrors? Totally the way to a girl's heart.
Summer's pretty much over for me--only a little over 3 weeks until soccer preseason starts and then after that school will be starting before I know it. Honestly, I'm ready. I'm ready to get back and see all my friends and even start having homework again!
Okay, maybe not the homework part. But definitely the friend part! The main thing that I'll miss about this summer is the great relationship I've had. My boyfriend leaves for college at the end of August--summer's bittersweet.
