Middle School Throwback..?

I have not entered the dark, dank depths of Abercrombie since middle school--until a few weeks ago, when I decided I needed to get rid of a long neglected gift card. 
In case you were wondering, yes it still smells EXTREMELY STRONGLY of whatever their perfume is. And yes it's so dark I couldn't see my mom. And yes, I shop with my mom. She rocks.
But honestly, I was surprised by some of the stuff Abercrombie had. Like yeah, this top is pretty cute right and you wouldn't expect it to be from there? Also, it doesn't say "ABERCROMBIE AND FITCH" in giant letters on it to me so that's already a step in the right direction. Yipeee.

Fish-Eye in the City

One of my birthday presents was a photography add-on for my iPhone. It's a combination macro lens, wide angle lens, and, most importantly--a fish-eye lens. Yesterday my dad and I went to the International Center of Photography, where we saw the shows (which were great!). While in NYC, I also made use of my new lens. As you can tell fish-eye is my favorite and I took around 500 pictures--I'm obsessive when I get a new camera/photography gadget. This one is sooo cool because I can carry it around very easily (it's so tiny) and then just stick it on my iPhone! Ah, the glories of technology. 
And in case you were wondering, being 18 feels no different than being 17, although I've seized upon every opportunity to remind my parents/friends/dog/random strangers that I am, in fact, a legal adult.

Reminiscence

Wearing everything Echoing Waters

Summer feels like forever ago, but I can't help but reminisce...
To be totally real, these pictures don't accurately portray my style. I'm not at all a hippie (although I LOVE Free People), but I do have a friend who is of that free-spirited nature. And she's so fabulous that she has her own clothing and accessory line, Echoing Waters. This is probably the billionth time I've posted about her store here on Wear Abouts, but hey she's my friend and I love what she's doing...plus she let's me model! Enjoy these shots from the beginning of summer! It's so fun to dress up in her stuff when she needs a model :)
