I've been on such a color run lately, and it's been sooo refreshing! But I've made an exception and I'm back in black to show you a different type of statement; tights. Printed tights are one of my favorite things to wear, so winning these from Jess at Hapa Time was awesome. She's one of my favorite bloggers, not just because she's gorgeous, or because she is so very stylish, or even because she's genuinely nice. It's because her pictures have this surreal quality that most bloggers' images don't. Seriously. Take a look and see what I mean! She literally GLOWS. A few weeks ago, I asked her for some tips on how her photos always looked so great! She wrote me this whole long email detailing exactly what to do to make my pictures better. There are some things I can't change: like the imperfect focus. When you're using a tripod and a remote, the camera doesn't focus as well. Nor can I change the background. I don't have much option for variety in that field. But thanks to Jess, I've been able to change some things lately. Have you noticed the change in lighting and overall general quality? I've been much happier with the pictures in the past few weeks. Her tips are secret--but maybe if you visit her blog and see what she's doing, you'll be able to pick up on some of them.

This look feels very FALL to me. Maybe it's the colors--maybe it's the bare trees--or maybe it's the crisp, cool (not cold) weather we've had around here as of late. Whatever it is, I'm just glad it's not actually Fall! In my tip-top seasonal analysis here, I told you all about how the heat of Summer comes after Spring. Well, the chill of Winter comes after Fall. Therefore, Spring>Fall>Winter. And I'm not sure how I feel about Summer. What I've learned? I should start another blog on the four seasons and how they make me feel...I seriously need to stop boring you with my opinions on seasonal matters! :)
