Another thing on my list for fall/winter are more beanies! I got this one from a sponsor last year and I want more! I feel like this one makes my head/hair look weird sometimes so I want one that's a less scratchy wool and fits better on my head.

I'm also loving the cutout on the back of this shirt from SUPERbrand. Totally my style :)

I GOT MY HAIR CUT! It's been like 6 months since the last time I got it cut. So yeah, I was long overdue. I only got 2 inches off, and you probably can't even tell since it's blowdried. But when I wear it natural you'll see. Now that it's November, it's finally starting to get cold. *sigh*. The days of bare legs are (almost) over. I usually extend my bare legs into December when I freeze my butt off for the sake of fashion. Hey, lookin' good comes at a price, right?

1 week and 1 day until my biiirthdayyy!! As a 17 year old: -I am illegible to be on the show 16 and pregnant -I am able to get my drivers' license. -I will start to really look at colleges -I can now see an NC-17 movie!! (whatever that is) -I will have one more year of being a legal child What else can you think of that is special to being 17? Disclaimer: I stole the 16 and pregnant idea from my friend Mary :P

So I told you in my last post that I'd recently added an plethora of new sunglasses to my closet. Well, I more than doubled my current collection with 8 new pairs, to be exact. Never again will I wear the same pair two days in a row!!!! Now I've got tons of options. Where did I get 8 new pairs of sunglasses?? GIANT VINTAGE OF COURSE! Don't let the name fool you--while yes, they do have an amazing selection of vintage, they've got new pairs too! And by no means does 'vintage' mean outdated. This shop has the coolest, most eclectic mix of modern, funky, retro, and yes, vintage, that you'll find anywhere!
Since I was sent 8 pairs of sunglasses to test out, I figured it was ample time for another feature like the one I did with the Echoing Waters galaxy shirt back in August. So here you have 8 pairs, 8 days, 8 ways: Day 1. Today's pair are the "Fin" glasses in black. They're $20 and they come in tortoise too!
When I wore this outfit to school, I actually wore it with the white version of this top. But I wish I'd worn it with the mint! Looking at the pictures now, I love how the mint compliments the purple. Also, this is literally the best t-shirt ever. So comfortable, chic and loose. Hence why I bought two of the same one :)
Last thing I want to talk about are my new flats from MyHotShoes.com! If you didn't know, purple is my color. My closet is painted purple, I have 4 purple dresses....but, (until these) I had no purple shoes. That's where these came in! They remind kind of of the Tory Burch Reva flats that are so cute and oh so expensive. I'd say for $14.99, these certainly rival TB's Reva! I might have to scoop them up in the 5 other colors, too....

Unbelievably, I've had this silk J. Crew top for a year and a half now and only worn it twice. I just haven't found anything to wear it with! The top is actually layered, so the second, longer layer is tucked into the skirt. I think it's finally met it's match! I really like how it looks almost peplum-y and the more cropped effect it has. And god, do I even need to say why I love this skirt?? Galaxy is my latest obsession. And this skirt is so wonderfully crafted that it's satisfied my obsession (....for now). Check out mmddyyyy for more galaxy, acid wash, studded and just totally COOL stuff in general! Also, how awesome is that name? I'll admit I didn't get it at first. But now that I do, I see how clever it is! If you're sometimes slow like me, I'll let you in on the secret: mmddyyyy the format for a date!

I have less than two weeks now until my preseason starts. It seems so crazy--this summer has gone incredibly fast! I'm excited to go back to school (and have my fall soccer season start) but I'm not excited for the weather to get cold, the days to get shorter, and the homework to start up again. And not enough time to do everything I want to do! Well, I'll soak up these last few weeks as much I can!
