Decided to dress a little preppy in this outfit considering I'll be heading to the preppiest place ever next year. Not that I'm worried--I'm always one to do my own thing, so I'm not planning on reinventing my wardrobe. Maybe I'll purchase some Bean Boots or something though...I do think they're pretty cute. 
Anyways, HAPPY MAY! It's finally warm here in the Northeast and I am loving it. Summer can't come fast enough :)

I wasn't even sponsored to write this post but I just HAVE TO keep telling you guys about these shoes. I know I wrote a post about them back in February but now that it's spring these floral sneakers are even more appropriate! I've worn them to school quite a lot recently (they've replaced the Converse I loved so much) and gotten so many compliments! And I love these even more. They're eco friendly, they're comfortable, they're pretty hipster looking. Like I said, I'm such a fan. Please check MOVMT out you won't be sorry I LOVE THESE SHOES.

Makeup Monday

SCHOOL IS OVER! Although I don't graduate until the very beginning of June, my school does a really cool thing called Senior Projects. I told you guys about this a while back but it only just started today, and so far it's been awesome! During the day I spent time with the friends I'm doing my project with and took lots of video. Then, in the afternoon I went to my friend Margaux's house to help her with her project--a makeup blog. 
And so, you may notice that my makeup looks a lot more prominent in these pictures! Margaux did my makeup and I thought it worked really well with this outfit! To keep up with her makeovers and to get some ideas of your own, check out her blog "MAKEUPBYMARGAUX".

University of Virginia Class of 2018!!!

I am so so excited to share with you this great news! I had an incredibly difficult decision to make--after being in love with University of Pennsylvania since my sophomore year in high school, I didn't think anything could sway me. Less than a month ago, for the first time ever, I visited UVa and fell in love. I was there for almost a week competing for a scholarship (I GOT IT!) and I am so so lucky to get to call such a wonderful place home next year. Although I loved Penn, I know I made the right decision and have already made a ton of friends who will be my classmates at UVa next year.

I can't wait to tell you more about the program I'm a part of, but for now,

WAHOOWA, WAHOOWA, UNI-V, VIR-GIN-I-A, HOO-RAH-RAY, HOO-RAH-RAY, RAY! RAY! U-V-A!

(mad props if you get that last line which just looks like gibberish. If you want it to sound like gibberish, google "The Good Old Song" and see how fast they sing it!)

Decisions Decisions

First of all I'd like to apologize for my three week hiatus...I've been so busy and so stressed and so happy and so sad all at once!

That is until yesterday, when everything but the happiness fell away and I had the absolute best day of my life. 

Next year I'll be going to my dream school. Can you guess where I chose???
