Guys, I'm sorry. I unintentionally tricked you all. I didn't wind up wearing EITHER outfit that I posted about on my first day of school...instead, I wore the outfit seen in the post seen here with sandals instead of flats. I was so indecisive...and this was what I liked the night before the first day. On any other given day, I might have worn something completely different. Might have just been one of those moods. Nonetheless, I got lots of compliments...so I'm not complaining :). I'm onto my third day now, and hopefully I'll be able to take some new pictures soon! It's hard, with soccer, I don't get home until nearly 7 PM....and then I have to do my homework! Plus, it's starting to get dark by then anyways....oh how I miss summer already!

But, I do have some awesome classes---my favorite being Poetry and AP US Gov. My school has the best record of any school in the United States on the AP US Government and Politics exam...the last year it was taught at my school, 43 students took the exam and 37 of them got a 5 (the highest possible score!). The remaining six got a 4, which is very good as well! So I have high hopes for that class and the results I'll get! Plus, I love the teacher--not only does he deliver results (37 out of 43, guys...THAT is impressive), he's a funny guy.

Anyways, my team has our first game of the season tomorrow night! It's one of the toughest teams we face, and yours truly will be starting as goalkeeper! Wish me luck!!!!!

  1. AWE I'm glad that you are looking forward to your AP class, though!!~ they're tough, but soooo worth it! You'll do awesome, and that's good that you've got a funny teacher--it's always nice to have great teachers! :) I had good ones for my two AP classes, too, back in the day (since I'm old as balls and all LOL)

But yeah, haaave fun with it!

This is a cute outfit and I love that purple color. Purple is definitely something we don't see enough in these day and times... so royal, so lovely, so very YOU.

&& gosh your comments always make my day. WELL I know what you mean about doing homework... I'm sitting in the Java City in the library at my campus reading enlightment sources... fun stuff ;)

  2. Those purple shorts look gorgeous on you :) I know what you mean, first days always seem the most indecisive when it comes to clothes - I'm pretty sure I pick out my outfit every year and I never wear what I originally picked.

  3. I like what you ended up wearing Rory, so bright and colorful! That's one of my all-time favorites from you too haha.
Also liking this cute and casual look you posted. Purple shorts! I need more colorful bottoms in my life...
Oh man, sounds like you're getting busy for sure! I hate how it gets dark early in the day now, it makes it almost impossible to set aside a time to get good outfit photos... >_<
Anyway, good luck in your game girl! You'll have to let us know how it goes.

  4. You look gorgeous, dear! Love that sheer blouse with the colored shorts. I adore the outfit you wore for the first day...SO CUTE. I'm always ridiculously indecisive too. In high school, getting ready for school resulted in the biggest mess ever, as I would throw all of my clothes all over my room trying to get the perfect combination. A girls got to do what a girls got to do xx
