We are doing self portraits in photo class so I got to shoot in the studio at my school, and this is the result. I went for a sort of hipster, pop art vibe. They were originally nice and normal with a white background and my skin was real color...but then I went a little crazy editing and I really like the effect! Doesn't it look cool with the neon? These are certainly Andy Warhol inspired!

Three weeks from today and I'll be on Spring break. I need it to come now...I'm so sick of school!  Haha, I don't know about you all, but I can't wait for summer!

...Prom...

At my school, prom is less than two months away! The "promposals" haven't started yet, but they'll start soon I'm sure! As a junior this year, I'll be able to go to prom. I don't have a boyfriend obviously, but if one of my guy friends ask me I'll go with a guy. If not, I'll go as a group with my friends! But the most important thing is a dress, of course. Arm candy (aka a guy) is nice but a dress is what really matters!!

The BEST place to get a prom dress is MissesDressy. You can shop cocktail dresses, evening gowns, and more with MissesDressy--so it's not just prom! If you're younger, look for bat/bar mitzvah or sweet sixteen dresses. If you're older, look for a college party dress or hey, even wedding gowns! Yep, they have just about everything. But as I'm in high school and prom is approaching....I've selected for you some of my favorite prom dresses from MissesDressy! Which is your favorite?

My essay for the NCTE contest is completed! I've uploaded it online and will post a link for you all to read it--soon. I wrote for hours all weekend and finally finished it last night. I submitted it today...!!! And tonight, I'm headed off to see my work exhibited in the Scholastic exhibit. LIFE IS GOOD.
