All Gold Everything

Everything is golden! My hair is blonder (thanks, Sun-In), my jewelry is gold, my shoes are gold, my bag and top have gold embellishments. Like I said--all gold everything! And that's all I have to say for today, as it's day 2 of soccer preseason and I'm tired from a combination of the long practice and the 6 am wakeup....so I'm going to take a nap. Seafan Dreams

Marshall's has really been awesome lately. I've found tons of pretty dresses and tops there, and can't wait to wear them once school is in again! The top in my last post as well as this dress are two of my latest finds. I love the colors in this dress and think it's so perfect for summer! Also, like my new bag? I've needed a bag for forever because (I'm embarrassed to say) I've only had Vera Bradley stuff until this pretty leather crossbody. Since I'm almost 18 I'd say it's time for me to graduate from Vera Bradley, wouldn't you? :)

Today was my mom's birthday so we went and got pedicures and to a new place in my town for lunch. We also went out to dinner at Cheesecake Factory (a favorite in my family), and yesterday we saw fireworks in New York City! I'll be posting pictures from that later this week.

Summer Scarf

Scarves in the summer seem kind of excessive, especially when it's 90 degrees (like it was today). On another note....this girl is way ahead in the college application process! I've got my essay for the common application, as well as the common app itself, pretty much completed. On top of that I've filled out some supplemental essays for my top schools, so I am feeling good! Applying to college is nerve-wracking yet so exciting!!!!
I'm probably crazy but I just want the whole process to kickoff right now so I can actually send in applications! :)
