Philly is definitely on my top 5 list for favorite cities. The vibe is just so similar to my personal vibe--artsy, creative, more "laid-back" than NYC. Don't get me wrong, I love the buzz and constant go-go-go of New York. But I also like to supplement my trips to New York with ones to Philly. I was in Philly last week for a VERY exciting day (one that I'll perhaps tell you about later on)! Anyways, here is what I wore.  Only a few weeks left of stress before I can finally relax a bit...and pay more attention to this blog!!! (Sorry guys, but for now college apps have been taking priority)! This Spring I've got a lot of great stuff planned for Wear Abouts :) P.S...I've been FEATURED! She's one of my favorite bloggers and I'll even go as far as saying we have very similar styles...because I may have taken "inspiration" once or twice or ten times too far from her awesome outfits! Graduation

Last Friday was graduation and commencement at my school and it was very bittersweet! Some of my very good friends (as well as my boyfriend) all graduated. It's bitter because I'm going to miss a lot of people. But it's sweet because I am a senior!!!! It's crazy and I feel so old! I know that's young to a lot of you. But I can still remember my first day of 6th grade....so I feel old for sure.

I was very glad that this Free People dress came in the mail a few days before because I was hoping I'd be able to wear this to graduation! It's even better than it looks online, and I got it in darker colors so that I can wear it with tights all winter long as well :) I got lots of compliments on it!

I got this white denim jacket for back to school but really didn't wear it much in the fall. I certainly made up for that this spring though! I wear it basically once a week (and I would wear it more if that were socially acceptable). I'm sure I will be wearing it more in the summer too--white always looks better against a tan ;)
Also one of my favorites--this hand made Horoscope tank from my friend Lauren at Echoing Waters! Echoing Waters started with headpieces/ hair clips and other hippie-oriented accessories and has branched out into clothing of all sorts--and coming soon, NECKLACES! I can't wait. Necklaces are probably my favorite thing ever other than shoes so you can be sure I'll be modelling some Echoing Waters neckwear on Wear Abouts this summer :)

Happy last hours of May! I have my LAST FINAL on tuesday and my LAST SAT2S tomorrow. After that, I'm done with my junior year!!!!!!!!!!!!
You guys are probably sick of me talking about all of my testing and work load and everything. But it was just such a huge part of my life this year! I can't wait to kick back and relax this summer. I'll be lifeguarding again, devoting more time to the good ole' blog, and just hanging out. 
It already feels like summer where I am! It's been in the 90s and let me tell you it is not fun at all to go running when it's that hot. Today I only had a half day because finals started (I just had an English presentation that's all) and so I came home and ran and ate food then laid out on my driveway and tanned for over an hour. Boy did it feel good! I can't tell if I'm actually tanner but hey, I gotta start somewhere right? I was looking through my outfit pictures from last August and crying silently to myself at how tan I was. I can't wait to be tan again!

Oh ya and I forgot to mention to you guys! Remember my prom date? He's my boyfriend now. Enjoy this adorable picture below and cue the "AWWWWWWs"

Long Time No See

I have (finally) returned from my over two week blogging break! It wasn't intentional but it turned out to be needed. It's so weird that it's been almost a month since my last outfit post. But I'm back with one that's a bit dressier than my usual. I have 3 full days of school left and then I've got finals and then graduation and then wow I will be a senior!! It's crazy to think...but I'm ready.
What I've been up to recently: -taking SAT2s -taking APs -school -hanging out with friends -photography (LOTS of it)
The same gist as usual :) I'm glad to be back to blogging! Happy almost Summer!
