Luau Wow
~~~~
Recognize this outfit? That's because I wore it just a few posts ago! Remember when I said I'd be wearing it to a luau while in Hawaii? Look who kept her word :)
This is probably one of my all time favorite dresses. Great print, great fit, LOVE the neckline...literally, everything about this dress is just awesome. THANK YOU Lulu*s for making my dress collection 1000x better with just one dress.
And this wraps up my Hawaii pictures...in other news, guess who left for college today!!!!
Forever
~~~~
When you've gone to a school for so long, school spirit is hard to get rid of. And the school colors often start to stick with you. I'll never be able to wear blue and white without conjuring up fond memories of my middle and high school, where I spent 7 years.
This outfit reminds me of seven years of field days, of sports games, of spirit songs. It was a good seven years. But, as my outfit shows, I'm ready to transition from blue and white to blue and orange (see: the shoes). Two weeks from tomorrow and I'll be on my way to UVa :)

Again
~~~~
Again, I'm reppin' the best school ever shamelessly and completely. In case it wasn't already obvious, I'm obsessed with orange and blue and will find every way possible to get it into my everyday-wear! I could promise you that this will be the last time before I go away that I'll be wearing orange and blue but...that's probably not true.
Speaking of going away... according to the countdown on my laptop screensaver, I move in in 27 days!! HOW CRAZY IS THAT! Those of you reading this are probably not as excited/blown away by how close it is as I am. Other than my mom. Shout-out to her cause she probably thinks it's even crazier than I do.
Last but not least, I just want to point out that I'm fully embracing my inner-prep with this outfit... because although the outfit itself isn't necessarily preppy, the accessories sure are! I'm at it again with the gold chain style from Marrin Costello. AND I'm LOVING monogram!
Like this laptop case from 9th and Elm that I ordered specifically for school. I'll never lose it because it has my initials on it, AND it'll be perfect for showing off my UVA pride all year long. It was so fun to click through all of the handmade and independent designs that were monogrammed on 9th & Elm. The necklace I'm wearing is from there too... and trust me, they have way more than monogrammed accessories. They've got cute clothes, accessories, even home goods. Check 'em out, y'all.
Blue + Blue + Blue
~~~~
This necklace and dress and shoes go SO well together! Sometimes I can't help but match impeccably (and almost annoyingly). I think it worked this time, wouldn't you say? Thoughts?

Maxi Cool
~~~~
These days I seem to be all about accessories! From statement earrings to statement necklaces to everything in between. I decided to break from what's becoming my normal routine--statement necklaces--and wear this delicate one from Kendra Scott instead. The color and the length are perfect, and added just the right pop of color to my look!
And I can't help but point out the coloring of these earrings...or did you already notice? Orange and blue?! :) Yes please! Accessory Mercado has me ALLL set for UVa, yessir.
My other newest purchase isn't actually seen here. But you all know I love this army vest from J. Crew, just based on how often I wear it, right? Well, I got the jacket version of it from J. Crew the other day on SUPER sale. Gotta love good sales. Perhaps when it's a bit cooler I'll show that off to you as well!
