Hands down one of my favorite parts of fall--BOOTS AND SOCKS! Last year I bought a bunch of Free People socks and this year I've already got a new pair for fall! They look sooo cute peeking out of boots. Check back later this week to see three outfits with Free People socks!

As of today my junior year is officially halfway over. It's crazy, how time flies. I'm already putting together my schedule for senior year and have taken the SATs twice. I have two AP exams in May and more SATs/ACTs/SAT IIs coming up. I've visited a few schools and this spring I'll be visiting hopefully many more. After that I'll be writing my applications. It's gonna be a rough year but I know that in a year from now, when I've gotten into the school of my dreams, all of this will be worth it.

It's been pretty chilly lately, and getting ready in the morning with the temperature inside the same as it is outside (not to mention being dark), I haven't been able to come up with as interesting of outfits. It's hard to see what I'm picking out much less how it looks on me, so I've basically stuck to pants and leggings and dresses by themselves these past few weeks. Now, that's not to say I'm not trying to make my outfits interesting. Jewelry has been a lifesaver for me lately: necklaces, bracelets, I've even taken to wearing earrings regularly. My favorite are diamond stud earrings from myjewelrybox, because they add just the right amount of sparkle without being too obnoxious. I've also been stacking on the bracelets! What's your strategy for dressing up an otherwise boring outfit?

Back to the swing of things with school, and just as I predicted, I'm counting down the days til summer.  At least I have my first day off next Monday, for a Jewish holiday. And then the week after that I have another day off for another Jewish holiday. Not too shabby, eh? And then from there we have a day off in October for something but I can't remember what....5 days in November for Thanksgiving...16 days off for Christmas...Martin Luther King day...President's Day weekend...16 days for Spring break...3 more days for Easter/Passover...and then BAM IT'S SUMMER AGAIN!!! When I put it like that, it seems really really close. But in actuality, it's a whole 273 days left until I go on Summer Vacation again....
*sigh*

This gold lamé skirt gets me every time. I could literally pair it with every single top in my closet. My mom thinks it's ugly, but what does she know? (Love you, Mom <3)!  I mean, I'M the one with a fashion blog here. Not to say that that makes my outfits automatically stylish and cohesive. I guess YOU'LL have to be the judges of that :)

Tonight was spent with my two best friends watching Titanic (and crying), then watching Bridesmaids as a pick me up. As a blog about fashion, my general life is clearly not the focus. Many of you want to hear me write about the latest fashions, what I bought where, where and when I wore it, how I style it, etc......or maybe not. But sometimes, even if it is not interesting to the majority, you have to do something for someone else. Or two someone elses.  Thank you, Nicole and Mary, for following me from the beginning and being two of the best friends anyone could ever have! I don't know what I'd do without the two of you to make me laugh every day! (Don't you just love those cheeseball moments?)
