Leopard Libra

I got this white denim jacket for back to school but really didn't wear it much in the fall. I certainly made up for that this spring though! I wear it basically once a week (and I would wear it more if that were socially acceptable). I'm sure I will be wearing it more in the summer too--white always looks better against a tan ;)
Also one of my favorites--this hand made Horoscope tank from my friend Lauren at Echoing Waters! Echoing Waters started with headpieces/ hair clips and other hippie-oriented accessories and has branched out into clothing of all sorts--and coming soon, NECKLACES! I can't wait. Necklaces are probably my favorite thing ever other than shoes so you can be sure I'll be modelling some Echoing Waters neckwear on Wear Abouts this summer :)

Overly Matching Neon

Happy last hours of May! I have my LAST FINAL on tuesday and my LAST SAT2S tomorrow. After that, I'm done with my junior year!!!!!!!!!!!!
You guys are probably sick of me talking about all of my testing and work load and everything. But it was just such a huge part of my life this year! I can't wait to kick back and relax this summer. I'll be lifeguarding again, devoting more time to the good ole' blog, and just hanging out.
It already feels like summer where I am! It's been in the 90s and let me tell you it is not fun at all to go running when it's that hot. Today I only had a half day because finals started (I just had an English presentation that's all) and so I came home and ran and ate food then laid out on my driveway and tanned for over an hour. Boy did it feel good! I can't tell if I'm actually tanner but hey, I gotta start somewhere right? I was looking through my outfit pictures from last August and crying silently to myself at how tan I was. I can't wait to be tan again!

Oh ya and I forgot to mention to you guys! Remember my prom date? He's my boyfriend now. Enjoy this adorable picture below and cue the "AWWWWWWs"

Schoolweek Casual

This trimester at school I'm taking Yoga as my PE. I am not the least bit flexible...I can't even touch my toes! But I've gotta say, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I am enjoying it. While it's going on, it's boring and sometimes painful, but when it's done it feels so good! And I actually feel like I'm getting flexible!!!
Anyways, here is just a casual look for those days when you're too tired to wear a skirt or dress or even jeans...yeah, it's that bad sometimes! Leggings and a loose tee and Converse are the solution to that! I dressed it up with some cute jewelry of course. I'm not one to wear anything TOO boring. Plus, look at the details on the back of this shirt from Too Sexy Store! I just love cutouts on the back of a shirt as you may remember from Spring. Love this shirt so much that I got it in cream, too! I've already got an outfit post planned for that color of the shirt :)

30 days til Christmas...I am SO READY! This is my favorite time of year. I love Christmas!!! Hey, who doesn't? I've started listening to Christmas tunes already. It can't come quick enough! Has anyone gotten their tree yet? What have you done to prepare for Christmas so far?

Frankenstorm

It's strangely warm and calm in my town. Strange, because Hurricane Sandy aka Frankenstorm is on its way. They're talking big winds, big rains, even snow. On Halloween!! What does that mean for me? Well, we might get off from school. Our Halloween parade might also be cancelled for the second year in a row. We had a big snow storm last year around Halloween when we lost power for a few days. I would love to have off of school, but I don't want to miss out on trick-or-treating!!
Got this summery shirt on Thursday night as a part of some retail therapy after my team lost a tournament game for soccer 1-0. That game officially ended my junior year Varsity season. I've only got one season left! Sad :(
You probably think it's weird that I have bare legs, bare arms...even a bare back. But I promise you--these photos were taken TODAY! It's 65 degrees out, not sunny at all, but very nice. It's weird. This is October? I'm sure Frankenstorm will show us what's really in store for the winter...
