Contradictions

Bare legs and snow are something that should never ever happen. The day I took these photos it was over FIFTY degrees and yet still, there was snow on the ground. As the camera snapped I heard branches dripping over and over and over. It sounded almost like rain yet no rain was falling. It's a weird feeling, that sort of contradiction. When you hear rain but it's not raining--or when you've got bare legs but there's snow on the ground.

Bang Bang

Wore this outfit last Friday and I have to say it's one of my favorites! I love the new jean jacket I got on Black Friday from J. Crew. It was originally like $100...and I got it for $30! I'm wearing it today even though I'm not wearing that dress. You'll see what I'm actually wearing today soon enough...I just don't have time to take pictures during the school week so I resort to doing them ALL on the weekends. If only it didn't get dark at the wee hour of 4pm... Anyways, got my report card back today and I am VERY happy! All A's and one B+. It's so satisfying that all of my hard work pays off, especially in my AP classes. I got an A in each of them (the B+ was math....my least favorite subject!). This look feels very FALL to me. Maybe it's the colors--maybe it's the bare trees--or maybe it's the crisp, cool (not cold) weather we've had around here as of late. Whatever it is, I'm just glad it's not actually Fall! In my tip-top seasonal analysis here, I told you all about how the heat of Summer comes after Spring. Well, the chill of Winter comes after Fall. Therefore, Spring>Fall>Winter. And I'm not sure how I feel about Summer. What I've learned? I should start another blog on the four seasons and how they make me feel...I seriously need to stop boring you with my opinions on seasonal matters! :)
