8 pairs, 8 days, 8 ways // Day 8

Top- J. Crew | Shorts- American Eagle | Shoes- Gap | Jacket- American Rag @ Macy's | Caribou Black Sunglasses- c/o Giant Vintage | Bracelets- c/o Starry Groove, gifted | Necklace- Rice's Market

I saved my favorite pair for last! These are the Caribou glasses in black, and they're $24.
Tomorrow, I have an awesome sunglasses inspired post to put up! So make sure you check back to see that. It will include 17 ways to wear sunglasses!! Pretty exciting stuff.

Also exciting? Homecoming weekend! My school is lame in that we don't have a football team. But I guess that is a good thing since then soccer is the big homecoming sport! We're playing a really good team, so I'm looking forward to a good game. Wish me luck !

Finally, a shout out to Giant Vintage, for sending me EIGHT pairs of sunglasses to style here on the blog! The past eight posts have been some of my FAVORITE yet!

Although it's back to cold this week, last week's almost summer-like heat had me wearing shorts and sandals! This look is the epitome of Spring for me: although it's not loaded with happy, bright colors, I believe a white dress can do wonders. Of course it could do much MORE wonders against tanned skin, but you'll have to live with my pasty legs (and feet...GAH) for now. In the Summer, I get very dark and all sorts of light colors look great against my skin. But Spring is about light and bright colors, too: pastels, neon brights, and stark whites. This isn't stark but it's lace and it's white and if that doesn't scream Spring, I don't know what does. Well, maybe wedges. And bare legs. Still, this white lace dress is going to be an essential for me in Spring 2012 because a) it's versatile b) it's easy to wear c) it's the perfect style and texture for Spring!

And I've got something I'd REALLY love for you all to do for me. In fact, I've added  2 new entries to my giveaway (where you can win a chance to promote your business, blog, or shop!) worth TEN ENTRIES and FIVE ENTRIES. All you have to do is FAVORITE and VOTE FOR my submission to Chictopia's SPRING BLOOM contest. It would mean the world to me! And I promise if I win (or get a runner-up), I'll be sure to have a giveaway that's better than any I've done before! So help me win and head over and VOTE and FAVORITE my LOOK now! :) And if you do, enter my giveaway for a chance to gain 15 EXTRA ENTRIES!!!!

For now, back to tights. My sandals and summer dresses return to hibernation until (hopefully soon) I can take them out again bare-legged!

Happy Tuesday! I've been thinking about the blog and you, my readers, a lot lately. Mostly, I've been thinking of ways to improve it both visually and content-wise. And that got me to thinking...other than those I know in real life, most of you don't know very much about me other than my name and my penchant for fashion. Well, I want that to change! I don't want you to just see me through my outfits, I want you to see me as a real girl. Cheesy as it sounds... :)

So, leave any questions about me, my style, my pictures, my clothes, or any types of comments/styling advice/questions you may have in the comment section down below! I'll put them all together in a post later on :)
