Hey, Audrey

Dress- Marshall's | Blazer- J. Crew | Shoes- Lucky Brand | Necklace- Macy's | Watch- c/o Daniel Wellington

My favorite color for a good amount of time now has been purple. My room is purple, my coat is purple, my backpack is purple, my keyboard cover is purple, my bed is purple, and I have a growing collection of purple clothing.

Take this blazer from J. Crew for example! I've found it handy lately, as it adds the perfect amount of class to an outfit for an interview. It also goes well with my room.

These pictures were taken indoors in my room since it's just too cold outside. That poster/picture thing I've got hanging is Audrey Hepburn--whose style I admire--and whose movies are really quite fantastic. I haven't seen many old movies, but from what I have seen, I know enough about Audrey Hepburn to know she was one awesome lady.

Fake Christmas

Top- Forever 21 | Skirt- Urban Outfitters | Jacket- c/o Free People | Scarf- Hollister | Hat- American Eagle gifted | Watch- c/o Daniel Wellington | Boots- Lucky Brand @ Macy's

I have a black leather jacket but it honestly doesn't get much use, partially because I feel too goth when I wear it since I wear so much other black. But then, this jacket came in. It's from Free People and it's one of their best selling jackets (of which they have many), and it's much easier to style if you ask me--because I can wear black with it! I did decide to stick with lighter colors though.

Today was FAKE CHRISTMAS at my house--meaning we woke up and opened all our presents and pretended today was Christmas! Why? Because on REAL Christmas we're going to be away (you'll hear more about that later...). I got everything I wanted--a curling iron, puffer vests, the hat I'm wearing here, and the cutest pair of boots! I'm so happy with everything I've got, I really am so lucky :)

Next time you see me I'll be TAN YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY. (Being pale is seriously a struggle).

That Poetry Girl

Dress- Forever 21 | Boots- Lucky Brand @ Macy's | Jean Jacket- J. Crew Factory | Necklace- c/o ONecklace | Watch- c/o Daniel Wellington

Whenever I find writing related clothes I almost always buy them. This dress from Forever 21 has lots of random words (numbers too!) written on it, and as a writer, I just feel like it's the perfect addition to my wardrobe. I've also got tights with letters on them, which I actually considered wearing with this dress, but then thought that would be overkill....

Spiderman

Dress- c/o eShakti.com | Jacket- Wilson's Leather Outlet | Earrings- Anthro | Boots- Lucky Brand @ Macy's | Watch- c/o Daniel Wellington

On the night before Thanksgiving, my family saw "Spiderman" on Broadway. It was freezing cold and super windy, but the show was very cool! I wore this dress and jacket to keep me warm. Not much is new with me--I've been working hard of course, and haven't had much time for the blog. Wear Abouts isn't work for me--it's one of my greatest passions. Sometimes though, when I have so much other work that needs to get done, this gets neglected. Maybe because I haven't changed things up very much since my blogs very first days.

I can't wait for when I go to college--to show you whatever beautiful campus I am living on, to have my roommate help me with outfit pictures. My blog will head in a new direction once I'm off to college, for sure!

City of Brotherly Love

Philly is definitely on my top 5 list for favorite cities. The vibe is just so similar to my personal vibe--artsy, creative, more "laid-back" than NYC. Don't get me wrong, I love the buzz and constant go-go-go of New York. But I also like to supplement my trips to New York with ones to Philly. I was in Philly last week for a VERY exciting day (one that I'll perhaps tell you about later on)! Anyways, here is what I wore.
Only a few weeks left of stress before I can finally relax a bit...and pay more attention to this blog!!! (Sorry guys, but for now college apps have been taking priority)! This Spring I've got a lot of great stuff planned for Wear Abouts :)
P.S...I've been FEATURED! By the amazing Ashley of Twenties Girl Style. She's one of my favorite bloggers and I'll even go as far as saying we have very similar styles...because I may have taken "inspiration" once or twice or ten times too far from her awesome outfits! Thanks for inspiring me always Ashley!

Head on over to Twenties Girl Style to see me on the feature, "Yeah, I really own that...". Also you probably want to know what exactly it is that I own. :)

Living the Kusi Life

Headbandc/o KusiLife | Dress- Forever 21 | Sweater- Marshall's | Boots- Lucky Brand via Macy's | Necklace- c/o ONecklace | Earrings- Anthropologie (gifted) | Bracelets- Attachments LLC

I am loving this warm fall weather, when I can still wear dresses with bare legs but I can also wear boots and sweaters! Another new addition to my accessories wardrobe is this cozy headband from KusiLife

I've never been much of a headband person--until I tried this one! It's elastic on the part underneath my hair and a cute knit pattern on the part that shows. Everything on their website is handmade, and a percentage of the proceeds go to the socially conscious projects in Peru.

Can't beat that!

Shorts Season

Top- J. Crew | Shorts- c/o Lobby | Sweater- Forever 21 | Boots- c/o MyHotShoes.com | Earrings- Forever 21 | Phone case- Lucky Brand Jeans

Happy First Day of Spring! Finally time to break out the shorts again. Although it's too chilly today to wear shorts, last weekend was nice and warm! :) And this weekend is supposed to be, too.

Last night I saw Nice Work If You Can Get It on Broadway. It's the one with Matthew Broderick in it, although we didn't get to see him. His understudy was very good though! The play was very cute, and there was some great acting in it. I would highly recommend it! :)

Today, I'm college visiting! Let the fun begin...
