Reminiscing on days when the trees were lush and green, sandals were acceptable, and the sun shone. It's gray here as the Northeast is still anxiously anticipating Hurricane Sandy--right now it's at the "calm before the storm" stage. The wind is starting to pick up and give us a taste of what we're in for. All of the schools have been cancelled until Wednesday in my area---including mine!!! Good thing too, since I haven't finished my homework yet...
And if you haven't entered the giveaways yet--DON'T FORGET! You don't want to miss out! You can enter below in the Rafflecopter forms if you missed out!

Oh, and I went to a Halloween party last night as Cleopatra! Here's some pictures Hannah took. My costume's nothing special, but I did have some cool makeup :) What do you think of my friend Hannah's Black Swan costume? AWESOME right?

I may be internet-less these next few days...so expect a scheduled post! :)

Happy Tuesday! I've been thinking about the blog and you, my readers, a lot lately. Mostly, I've been thinking of ways to improve it both visually and content-wise. And that got me to thinking...other than those I know in real life, most of you don't know very much about me other than my name and my penchant for fashion. Well, I want that to change! I don't want you to just see me through my outfits, I want you to see me as a real girl. Cheesy as it sounds... :)

So, leave any questions about me, my style, my pictures, my clothes, or any types of comments/styling advice/questions you may have in the comment section down below! I'll put them all together in a post later on :)

Lulu's Giveaway/Now Closed

Outfit Details:
Top-Loft
Shoes-Target
Headband-H&M
Quiksilver Scarf-c/o Chictopia (Chic Rewards)
Peacoat-Delia's
Tights-Kohl's
Belt-Banana Republic

I REALLY wanted to wear this scarf I won from Chictopia. Even though it was one of those awkward warm days in the middle of winter, I had to do it. That's why I threw on a furry headband and a woolen coat in some of the pictures.  I'm just a very confused looking girl. So to not make this problematic, let's just ignore the fact that I've got bare shoulders with the thick scarf, kay?  Kay.

And, as you can tell from my title....

I'm a BIG fan of combat boots. Anything that will make my size 9's look like size 11's are the shoes for me!

Just kidding. Although I do like combat boots, it's not because they make your feet look bigger. Even if they do. I can get over that teeny detail for the fact that they make a twirly, girly outfit a bit more edgy. One-sided outfits aren't interesting enough, in my opinion. I need my outfits to be two-faced; to have one distinct vibe and another overshadowed vibe that you can find if you look hard enough. These particular boots might not be considered combat boots, but they're some form of man-hiking-combat boots that make this outfit a bit more me. Whenever I am looking to add something to my outfit, it's usually in the form of footwear, legwear, or neckwear. Hallelujah for patterned tights, crazy shoes, and chunky necklaces! How do you add spice to your outfits?
