Spiderman

Dress- c/o eShakti.com | Jacket- Wilson's Leather Outlet | Earrings- Anthro | Boots- Lucky Brand @ Macy's | Watch- c/o Daniel Wellington

On the night before Thanksgiving, my family saw "Spiderman" on Broadway. It was freezing cold and super windy, but the show was very cool! I wore this dress and jacket to keep me warm. Not much is new with me--I've been working hard of course, and haven't had much time for the blog. Wear Abouts isn't work for me--it's one of my greatest passions. Sometimes though, when I have so much other work that needs to get done, this gets neglected. Maybe because I haven't changed things up very much since my blogs very first days.

I can't wait for when I go to college--to show you whatever beautiful campus I am living on, to have my roommate help me with outfit pictures. My blog will head in a new direction once I'm off to college, for sure!

Good Hair Day

I GOT MY HAIR CUT! It's been like 6 months since the last time I got it cut. So yeah, I was long overdue. I only got 2 inches off, and you probably can't even tell since it's blowdried. But when I wear it natural you'll see. Now that it's November, it's finally starting to get cold. *sigh*. The days of bare legs are (almost) over. I usually extend my bare legs into December when I freeze my butt off for the sake of fashion. Hey, lookin' good comes at a price, right?

Rolling Thunder

Jacket- Wilson's Leather | Kent Dress- c/o Crash and Burn Apparel | Shoes- Tahari via Lord and Taylor | Carrie Necklace- c/o Best Personalized Jewelry

I received this name necklace in the mail last weekend, and I've worn it to school every single day since. I've wanted one of these for so long, they are so stylish--you may be familiar with another name for these necklaces, the "Carrie", a trend started by the ever stylish Carrie from Sex and the City. Well, now Rory's got one too!!! You can get one personalized to your liking in silver, gold, double thickness, and so on from Best Personalized Jewelry. I highly recommend!

I also got this dress from Crash and Burn Apparel in the past week. I've received pieces from them before, including my favorite t-shirt ever. You can see all of the ways I've styled Crash and Burn before HERE. Their styles are edgy and include lots of tie-dye...which is my favorite print ever! So of course, I looove my Crash and Burn! :) If you want to buy something, the quality is amazing. And I've got a coupon code for you! Use code "WEARABOUTS20" for 20% off of your order at Crash and Burn.

On another note, thank you all so much for the birthday comments, tweets, and emails! I had a nice birthday on Thursday despite having to study all night long, and my family will be celebrating my birthday today by going out to dinner and opening presents! On my actual birthday, I got one of my presents and it was 4 pretty nail polishes for fall. I am kind of addicted to painting my nails so these will certainly come in handy :). One of my friends baked me cookies, another brought me a king-size hershey, and still another made me a big, colorful card. It was a good day! I'm off to my third soccer game in 4 days now...and then after that to celebrate my 17th! Have an awesome weekend, guys!

Black + White + Pink All Over

Top- H&M | Motel Rocks skirt- c/o Lulu*s | Boots- DV by Dolce Vita for Target | Jacket- Wilson's Leather | Jewelry- c/o Miss Viss

Back to the swing of things with school, and just as I predicted, I'm counting down the days til summer.  At least I have my first day off next Monday, for a Jewish holiday. And then the week after that I have another day off for another Jewish holiday. Not too shabby, eh? And then from there we have a day off in October for something but I can't remember what....5 days in November for Thanksgiving...16 days off for Christmas...Martin Luther King day...President's Day weekend...16 days for Spring break...3 more days for Easter/Passover...and then BAM IT'S SUMMER AGAIN!!! When I put it like that, it seems really really close. But in actuality, it's a whole 273 days left until I go on Summer Vacation again....

*sigh*

I'm officially on SPRING BREAK for TWO WHOLE WEEKS! My goal is to be posting as much as I can! That is...if I get off the couch and actually wear something. You probably don't want to see me all decked out in some sweats and UGGs. But, I do have some fun things planned these next two weeks that will (hopefully) inspire me to dress up!

First, I'll be going to Boston for three days to look at colleges *gulp*. It's hard to believe in 2 years I'll be off to college! I have no clue where I want to go right now, but I do want to be near/in a city, as opposed to the middle of nowhere!

Second, I'm going into NYC for a big shopping spree! I can't wait to load up on spring/summer fashions straight from the heart of the Big Apple!

I'll be more active in commenting on your blogs, as well, now that there's no schoolwork to hold me up! So here's to the OFFICIAL start of spring (in my book)....Spring Break! :)

Style Tip: This sparkly, floaty dress from Ruttish is super feminine and romantic. In order to avoid the overly girly look, pair with edgier accessories. I paired it with a leather jacket, leopard belt and spiked necklace but wore my ladylike color-blocked heels (don't they look like the Zara ones that EVERY blogger has?!) so that the edginess wasn't over the top.

Lamé

Outfit Details:
Shirt-Old Navy
Leather Jacket-Wilson's Leather
Skirt-Forever 21
Belt-J. Crew
Necklace + Cuff- H&M
Boots-Dolce Vita for Target

This gold lamé skirt gets me every time. I could literally pair it with every single top in my closet. My mom thinks it's ugly, but what does she know? (Love you, Mom <3)!  I mean, I'M the one with a fashion blog here. Not to say that that makes my outfits automatically stylish and cohesive. I guess YOU'LL have to be the judges of that :)

So, what do you think? 'Yay' or 'nay' to this gold skirt?

On another note....

I WISH A VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO

my brother JAMIE

whose birthdays are today!
