I Love Lucca

Dressc/o Lucca Couture | Jacket- H&M | Bootsc/o Rocket Dog | Belt- Banana Republic | Necklace- Romwe | Bracelets- c/o Free People, gifted

Back to school means...BOOT SEASON! As you all probably remember from the extravagant amount of boot purchases I made last fall and winter, I absolutely LOVE boots. I am starting early this year with these beauties from Rocket Dog

This is also my second styling of my favorite dress from Lucca Couture. Do you like it better in this more "Fall" styled look or in the summery way I wore it last week? I think I like this way better--but only because my mind's set on Fall already :)

And today is also one of my favorite days of the year...back to school shopping day! My mom, brother, and I go to the biggest mall on the east coast. It's the best!

Although it's back to cold this week, last week's almost summer-like heat had me wearing shorts and sandals! This look is the epitome of Spring for me: although it's not loaded with happy, bright colors, I believe a white dress can do wonders. Of course it could do much MORE wonders against tanned skin, but you'll have to live with my pasty legs (and feet...GAH) for now. In the Summer, I get very dark and all sorts of light colors look great against my skin. But Spring is about light and bright colors, too: pastels, neon brights, and stark whites. This isn't stark but it's lace and it's white and if that doesn't scream Spring, I don't know what does. Well, maybe wedges. And bare legs. Still, this white lace dress is going to be an essential for me in Spring 2012 because a) it's versatile b) it's easy to wear c) it's the perfect style and texture for Spring!

And I've got something I'd REALLY love for you all to do for me. In fact, I've added  2 new entries to my giveaway (where you can win a chance to promote your business, blog, or shop!) worth TEN ENTRIES and FIVE ENTRIES. All you have to do is FAVORITE and VOTE FOR my submission to Chictopia's SPRING BLOOM contest. It would mean the world to me! And I promise if I win (or get a runner-up), I'll be sure to have a giveaway that's better than any I've done before! So help me win and head over and VOTE and FAVORITE my LOOK now! :) And if you do, enter my giveaway for a chance to gain 15 EXTRA ENTRIES!!!!

For now, back to tights. My sandals and summer dresses return to hibernation until (hopefully soon) I can take them out again bare-legged!

Dreaming in Leopard

Outfit Details:
Dress-Forever 21 (last worn HERE)
Scarf-Banana Republic
Belt-Gap
Wedges-Kohls

Do you ever want a certain item SO BAD and then you can NEVER find it? That happens to me a LOT. This scarf was one of those things. I'd been searching for a leopard scarf everywhere, and I couldn't find one wherever I went. I browsed the giant department stores, the smaller/cheaper stores, sale racks...I mean EVERYWHERE. When I finally found this one, it's hefty price tag turned me away. I was convinced I'd never find my perfect leopard print scarf.....

But then, it went on sale. I LOVE sales. Sales, coupons, free shipping...those words are golden to my ears ;)

So, I bought the scarf for half of what it was originally. And got free shipping. And now that I have my perfect leopard scarf, I seem to see so many other leopard print scarfs in every store I go in. But MINE is the best of all of them.

Does that ever happen to you?

See me wear LEOPARD:

Lulu's Giveaway/Now Closed

Outfit Details:
Top-Loft
Shoes-Target
Headband-H&M
Quiksilver Scarf-c/o Chictopia (Chic Rewards)
Peacoat-Delia's
Tights-Kohl's
Belt-Banana Republic

I REALLY wanted to wear this scarf I won from Chictopia. Even though it was one of those awkward warm days in the middle of winter, I had to do it. That's why I threw on a furry headband and a woolen coat in some of the pictures.  I'm just a very confused looking girl. So to not make this problematic, let's just ignore the fact that I've got bare shoulders with the thick scarf, kay?  Kay.

And, as you can tell from my title....
