You know when you're in one of those moods? And everything just seems AWESOME? I'm in one of those moods. And with good reason(s)! Everything seems to be coming together for me right now: my room is (almost) finished, I finished the school year with straight As for the first time in my high school career, and I found out today that I scored a 5 (the highest score!) on the AP US history (aka APUSH) exam that I took back in May. I worked so hard for it...and I am SO GLAD that it has paid off! Life is good.

And to top it off, today is my 6th month blogiversary! Yep, my little baby blog is half a year old. And to celebrate, as some of you may have seen on my Twitter and Facebook, I'm switching platforms and changing up my design. I'm no HTML guru, so I'm switching to blogger where customizations are simple and polished. The domain name will still be the same, but my blog will look slightly different and I'll have google friend connect! That should be launching this week, so bear with me as this site may be down for a bit!

To top THAT off, I'm going to Ikea today to buy some finishing touches for my closet room (who doesn't love going to Ikea??). These pictures were actually taken in that room because it's so scorching hot outside! I apologize for my frizzy hair (THIS IS THE FIRST BLOG POST WITH MY HAIR UP...can you see why? :) ), and for the bad lighting, yada yada yada.

And now about the look...kept it simple in a pleated skirt and tied up breezy top with a bandeau underneath. In the summer, it's all about staying cool and layering is not an option...unless you've got yourself a bandeau!

So I'll post pictures for you of my closet once it's TOTALLY done. And I'm off to Ikea now...not sure if I'll be posting soon thanks to the switch to blogger but I hope I will be!
