#Detox

All around the world, the biggest fashion merchandisers are contributing significantly to water pollution. People in poor countries are dying drinking the toxic water, or from not drinking it--therefore dying of thirst. The Detox Campaign was launched by Greenpeace to make a toxic-free future. Bloggers, fashion designers, writers, and the brands themselves have united to make fashion without pollution. BUT there is still such a long way to go. I found the campaign website last week while browsing the internet and was touched by the video. I inked the campaign logo on my hand and snapped some pictures to show my support. You can too--sign the Detox Fashion Manifesto, tweet with the hashtag #DETOX, and find out more on their website here.
Unite with other members of the fashion scene and bloggers like me to put an end to water pollution! We don't know how good we've got it. Hopefully this video puts things into perspective, and makes you aware of what's really going on with your favorite clothing manufacturers.
ALSO--check out my 365 project! LESS THAN 30 DAYS REMAIN!
